Climate
On the slopes of Mount Anderson surrounded by forests, waterfalls
and mountains on an altitude of about 1059 m with moderate climate
lies the picturesque, malaria free town of Sabie. The climate and
conditions in this beautiful area are ideal for the forestry industry.
Peak temperatures are in December (26,30) and the lowest in June
(3,40). It rains mainly in summer, with an average rainfall of 1269.2mm
per year. Mist is a common sight in summer and snow occurs on the
mountain tops in winter.
Infrastructure
Here, in clean, healthy mountain air, you can enjoy a stroll through
town with coffee shops, beer gardens or restaurants, whilst the
village shops cater for all the visitors needs. Pre-primary, primary
and high schools, churches of almost all denominations, police station,
doctors, dentists, pharmacies, hospital, ambulance services, banks,
grocery stores, garages & auto shops, estate agencies, butchers,
hairdressers, clothing stores, a laundromat, all necessary services/retailers,
and much more form part of the town's conveniences. An airstrip
for small aircraft is also situated just outside town.
Tourism

with garden terrace. All restaurants are offering a variety of menus

is extreme adventures like abseiling, bridgeswing and candlelight
caving on an irregular basis on offer.
